March 6, 2026 — Turbolyft today announced the launch of AWARE, the first 360° Overhead Aircraft Awareness System designed specifically for the AS350 / H125 to enhance pilot situational awareness, operational safety, and mission efficiency. The company will officially unveil AWARE at Verticon 2026, taking place in Atlanta, Georgia.
Real-Time 360° Aircraft Perspective
AWARE provides a single, unobstructed, full aircraft-perimeter view—blind-spot elimination, approach safety, and landing-zone awareness. It replaces or enhances door-mounted or belly-mounted cameras with a true overhead perspective ideal for Law Enforcement, Utility Operations, EMS / SAR, Tourism Safety, Training and Maintenance QA.
“Helicopter pilots operate in some of the most demanding environments in aviation,” said Jeremy Prasad, President of Turbolyft. “AWARE gives crews something they’ve never had before—a live, stitched 360-degree top-down reference of their aircraft. It’s like adding an external visual safety layer that dramatically enhances spatial awareness.”
AWARE utilizes six strategically mounted onboard cameras to capture synchronized visual data around the aircraft. Using advanced HD image processing and real-time stitching technology, the system creates a seamless, bird’s-eye composite view—providing pilots with a complete top-down perspective of their aircraft and immediate surroundings. This expanded field of view enhances situational awareness during critical phases of flight, including confined-area landings, rooftop operations, offshore approaches, and obstacle-rich environments. By delivering a clear, unified visual reference, AWARE helps reduce blind spots and pilot workload while improving operational precision. AWARE will also integrate features such as AI Recognition, Longline Visibility, Heat Monitoring and People Detection.
Debut at Verticon 2026
Turbolyft will unveil AWARE at Verticon 2026, offering attendees a glimpse into the system’s immersive top-down visualization and underlying camera-stitching technology and integration.
“Verticon is the ideal stage to introduce AWARE to the vertical aviation community,” added Brandon Lowe, Director of Sales & Marketing at Turbolyft. “This technology represents a leap forward in operational safety and situational awareness for the AS350 / H125 platform.”
Attendees can visit Turbolyft at booth #B5229 during the show to experience AWARE.
